Hi,
The reason for this is that the macOS finder app works kind of like a global app that's always active even when not directly visible. You can see this if you look in the menu bar. It'll often say Finder even when you are just on your desktop without an active window open, and this is the status Radial uses.
Due to the FInder's system integration, I am not sure if there is much I can do about it, but I will look into it. Remember, the global menu is also shown in all other apps that don't have a specific menu.
